By Share to Buy

Spoiler alert: Your new home might be closer than you think! Free financial and legal advice awaits – don’t miss it.

Let’s start with one simple question – have you ever thought about owning a home? If the answer is even a “maybe,” you’re in the right place. We’re here to help you see what’s possible.

We know the odds can feel stacked against you, but our network of experts is here to help. From schemes that require smaller deposits to options that let you buy the share you can afford, our industry specialists are ready to help you find your path to homeownership.

Whether you’re worried about debt, struggling to save, or facing other hurdles, you have more options than you might think.

Getting on the property ladder isn’t just for people with “high salaries” and “huge savings”; the route to owning a property looks different for everyone. It’s about finding what’s right for you, and that’s exactly why we created the Manchester Home Show.

This Saturday, 19th September, the Manchester Home Show returns, bringing first time buyers, second steppers, growing families, downsizers – and everyone in between – together with the experts who can help them take their first or next step towards homeownership.

Hosted by Share to Buy, the UK’s leading portal for affordable homeownership, this FREE EVENT takes place at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel from 10.30am to 4pm. Whether you’re starting to explore your options or ready to buy, it’s the perfect opportunity to get inspired, gain confidence and discover homes and schemes that could change your future.

Explore your options in one place

The Manchester Home Show brings 20 exhibitors under one roof, showcasing hundreds of homes across Manchester and the North West. You’ll find expert guidance on affordable routes to homeownership, including Shared Ownership, Rent to Buy, Older Persons Shared Ownership and more.

It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to ask questions and compare schemes side-by-side, helping you see what’s really possible for your budget and lifestyle.

Get answers from the experts

We know home-buying can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. Meet housing providers, mortgage brokers, and legal specialists offering free, one-to-one advice. From deposits and credit scores to staircasing and conveyancing, you can get clear, practical answers tailored to your circumstances.

What’s on the agenda

One of the biggest draws this Saturday is the programme of live sessions and expert talks, designed to boost your knowledge and confidence. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store.

To book your place for the talks and sessions, you will need to download our event app. After registering for a ticket, you will receive an email with your joining instructions (including username and event code), and you will be prompted to download the Entegy Events app ahead of this weekend’s event. Registration will open up within the app once you have checked in at the show.

Sessions have limited availability and will be available on a first-come, first served basis. Ticket registration will be required for all sessions.

Whether you drop in for a single talk or stay for several, these sessions are packed with practical advice and insider insights you won’t find online.

Real stories, real confidence

Past visitors of our regional home shows consistently describe the them as a turning point. One first time buyer told us: “It was just so great to have a one-on-one conversation with someone. It really helped me clear up, okay, this is what my option is, this is how much I can afford…”

Another attendee summed it up simply: “It’s a great event and a perfect place for novices, nervous and new, or existing potential buyers to get all the information, support and advice they need.”

This is YOUR moment

In spring 2025, more than 750 people attended the Manchester Home Show, and since 2013, our regional home shows have welcomed over 87,000 aspiring homeowners. This Saturday’s event will help more budding buyers like you, because we believe everyone deserves a place to call their own.

Entry is free, but tickets are required. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time.

Reserve your ticket here and join us at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel this Saturday, 19th September, from 10.30am to 4pm.

This could be the weekend you start your journey to owning a home.
