Back in April, at the London Home Show, we had the pleasure of welcoming hundreds of aspiring purchasers to our stand. It was our mission to get each of you thinking about the next steps on your journey to homeownership.

We pulled out all the stops. Picture a life-sized manifestation wall where homeowners-to-be could write down their own headlines, setting their goals for the journey ahead. We even had our very own Square Roots Edition newspapers, packed with inspiring stories and real-life buyers who’ve been exactly where you are now. Plus, independent financial advisors were on hand to guide you through every step of the process. The energy at the event gave many purchasers the boost they needed to take those next steps.

And looking ahead, we’re gearing up for Square Roots Kingston KT1, launching this autumn. Another fantastic collection of Shared Ownership apartments located in the heart of South West London.

Shared Ownership allows you to buy a share of your home, starting from just 25%, whilst paying rent on the remaining portion. What does this mean for you? A much smaller deposit and lower monthly costs compared to buying outright.

You could move into your very own home with a deposit from as little as £3,656, for a 25% share on a £292,480 home. Over time, you then have the option to ‘staircase’ – gradually increasing your ownership up to 100%, if this suits you.

In simple terms, it’s a flexible way to get on the property ladder in London without the need for a huge upfront cost.
