London Home Show Spring 2026: Over 2,000 buyers took steps towards homeownership
A spring event full of momentum for aspiring homeowners
On Saturday 18th April, Share to Buy Live opened the doors of the QEII Centre once again for the London Home Show Spring 2026, welcoming over 2,000 visitors eager to explore their home-buying options. From first time buyers at the start of their journey to growing families reassessing their future, the space was filled with people looking for practical advice and real opportunities.
A lively and purposeful day
From the outset, the atmosphere was energetic and focused. As soon as the event began, conversations sparked across every corner of the venue, with questions being asked, ideas exchanged, and plans beginning to take shape. This wasn’t simply an exhibition; it was a space where people could actively move their homeownership journey forward!
Attendees made their way around a wide range of exhibitor stands, meeting housing providers, mortgage specialists, solicitors and industry experts, all ready to offer tailored support and guidance.
Now in its 13th year, the London Home Show has welcomed more than 87,000 prospective buyers since launching in 2013. This latest event brought together 36 exhibitors under one roof, giving attendees a unique opportunity to compare schemes, developments and services designed to make buying a home more achievable.
Highlights from the day
Take a look through the London Home Show Spring 2026 event guide for a closer insight into what was on offer.
Expert advice, face-to-face
One of the biggest draws of the London Home Show continues to be the chance to speak directly with trusted professionals. Visitors had access to a wide selection of housing providers, alongside mortgage brokers (in our biggest Affordability Space to date) and legal experts, all offering free, personalised advice. Whether attendees were just starting out or ready to take the next step, there was guidance available to match their situation.
Exhibitors included leading names in affordable housing across London and the surrounding areas, alongside specialist mortgage brokers, including our sponsors Abri Homes, Guinness Homes, L&G Affordable Homes, L&Q, Mortgage Advice Bureau, NHG Homes, Peabody New Homes, Places for People, Regenta, SO Resi, Southern Housing New Homes, Sovereign Network Group (SNG), Square Roots and Tembo.
Understanding home-buying options
Throughout the day, visitors explored a variety of affordable homeownership routes. From Shared Ownership and Discount Market Sale to Rent to Buy and London Living Rent, the event helped bring these schemes to life.
Rather than relying on online research alone, attendees could compare options side by side and ask detailed questions, gaining clarity on what might work best for them and their circumstances.
Informative sessions that made a difference
A full programme of live educational sessions ran throughout the day, designed to simplify the home-buying process and tackle common concerns.
Topics ranged from preparing for a mortgage and boosting your budget, to understanding Shared Ownership and navigating the legal process. These sessions gave visitors the chance to deepen their knowledge, clear up confusion, and feel more confident about their next steps.
The session schedule included:
Homeownership sessions with Places for People, Peabody New Homes, Pocket Living and Dan Knott, mortgage advisor and host of the popular Let’s Buy a Home podcast.
For those considering Shared Ownership, a dedicated session hosted by Sovereign Network Group (SNG) and Owen Paulo Legal explored what happens after buying a property, including staircasing and the resales process.
Mortgage-focused sessions with specialists from Mortgage Advice Bureau and Tembo.
A series of new expert-led talks designed to demystify the buying process, with financial and legal specialists explaining the ‘nuts and bolts’ of purchasing a property.
A shared experience
For many attendees, the event offered more than just information. It created a sense of connection, a reminder that they’re not alone in navigating the challenges of buying a home.
Conversations with experts, as well as other buyers in similar situations, helped build confidence and reassurance. For some, it was the first time their goal of homeownership felt genuinely within reach.
Turning plans into action
The day wasn’t just about learning, it was about doing. Many visitors left having registered interest in homes, shortlisted developments, or arranged follow-up conversations with providers.
The London Home Show continues to act as a catalyst, helping people move from uncertainty to clarity, and from ideas to tangible next steps.
